So you're not going to even give the lad a chance?

Turning him into this seasons whipping boy will only have a negative effect on him and on the team. It's no way to support our club especially when things are looking so rosie. Can't we get behind our players and give the management the opportunity to put right mistakes and work with players to help them improve. We seen they are totally capable of turning a player round. Give them a chance FFS! Show ALL our players some support!

He won player's player of the season in the first year. I hold the opinion of his fellow team mates in much higher regard than someone intent on bashing our own players. He hardly featured last season and when he did, everyone was awful.

What did Flicker say yesterday? He needs the supporters to get behind the players. The only negative from this pre-season is that already some people have it in for McNulty and the season hasn't even started yet.

    Re: who

Don't let the fact that he is a Barnsley player get in the way fella's. Keep dragging him down like he plays for Wednesday or Leeds. I'm sure he and other players are the same as the board in not being able to resist a look on sites like this. It must do them the world of good to read all of the criticism. He was great in his first season with us despite being played in a position that he was not familar with. Hopefully the players see the positive comments on here too and realise that not all of our fans are gormless.

I'm guessing you didn't go last night? Flicker had a good talk about what happened to Wiseman and how it affected him. I suggest you give it a watch if you have iPlayer you might learn something.

    Look at Wiseman.

If someone came to where you work and said you're ***** you'd probably be a bit *****.

    Give the lad some support.

Don't need our own fans moaning on at a time like this.

Saying you don't rate one of our players is fine, but taking the **** out of him by calling him a silly name and making jokes sounds a lot like bullying. It's disrespectful.

You have to remember this is a public forum available for all to see, that includes the player, the players friends, the players family, his kids, wife.

Flicker talked about how much this affected Wiseman last season and as a result he wanted to leave but thankfully was talked out of it. He mentioned the mental damage this can do to any player. I've suffered from anxiety and I would have crumbled had I been in Wiseman's shoes.

I thought McNulty struggled against Wolves

With their powerful strikers and style of play, even taking account it was only a friendly. However, in the lad's defence, it was his first start since February and he spent most of last season injured. When he did play, it's not beyond the realms of possibility he wasn't 100% thus fit preventing him from playing at the standards he'd set the previous season. It may also have played a part in him only being offered a one year contract this Summer. Perhaps the friendly against Bordeaux will be better suited to his style, as he gets shut of his rustiness and more up to speed. Once he does so, he could well find himself being offered a longer contract.

    what a daft comment

I am extremely restricted to be at the games home or away, but do my best to get to as many as possible. BUT you ever heard of player..no thowt not. Not only can you get live commentary BUT you can also get a recording of the High Lights, extended Highlights and even full match. So this nonsense about attending games its a complete and utter nonsense. Before you start I began watching in 1961 that's 52 years... of that I have held an ST for 20 years . The rest was match day pay. Been some gaps when I was serving in Gibraltar, Falklands x2, Belize, Germany, the Ascension islands & with some wonderful... not.... detachments to Bosnia and Iraq. So what was your question again ?????

You seem like a lovely person.

How about you give supporting all of our players a go? Y'know, be a supporter?
