its amazed me how theres been no repocussions over that, i'm not saying that its wrong but **** me when the hudds player sits down and you can see the others gesturing to let him keep it
Aha!!! The you tube clip (cheers HT didn't spot it 1st time) is 1min 19secs. Was that it or had he had it lots longer? The clip starts and the field is already all set for a goal kick. I'd been 'asked to leave' by this point do never actually saw it. Ps I agree, it was a bit naughty to say the least! The Blunts would have had Steele int old bailey by now for Compo!!!!!
There is another clip on You Tube that shows you the whole thing, the build up, the incident and the final whistle. Sorry can't post it on this iPod but it's definitely on there somewhere.
What repercussions could there have been? Steel didn't do anything wrong. the ball was on the ground so the onus was for a Huddersfield player to challenge for the ball and make him play it....so the only repercussions could have been against Huddersfield
like it says in the post "i'm not saying its wrong" but certain fans could say its not in the spirit of the game, its ungentlemanly conduct, COULD be claimed. what would THIS board have done if the boot had been on the other foot
