McNulty is diabolical. He looks like someone off the street who won a competition to play for a Championship club.

It's getting really boring now. He made one mistake, get over it.

Agreed. People need to get off his back. Not many defenders could have handled that third goal. Top drawer.

He made one mistake and what happened? You're guaranteed a mistake a game from him. See where that gets us. Yet people keep defending him. Mental.

After said kid ran past 4 or 5 other players, none of which made any kind of challenge.

Mvoto, Crainie, Nayatanga, Wisemen, Kennedy all starting ahead of Jim so hopefully we have nowt to worry about... May even add Stones to that list if he returns on loan.

I'll support McNulty, because I don't think it will help to get on his back. But for me, he has a long way to go before he threatens a place in the starting line up. To be honest, right now he wouldn't even make my squad. That's not an attack, it's just my very diplomatic opinion.

Plenty of other players made mistakes but aren't getting the same treatment. Just get behind him, and if he proves you right then fair enough have a good moan, which still won't get you anywhere seeing as you don't pick the team.

What happened was the kid hit an unstoppable shot from an angle into the far right corner. McNulty got done for pace probably because the lad had built up a fair speed by the time he got alongside McNulty, who had to turn and try and catch up
1: The lad should never have got that far, he ran from nearly the half way line.
2: McNulty tried to force him wide, but he was carrying too much pace, you try catching someone flat out from a standing start facing the wrong way.
3: Everything you post is utter *****. Mental.

It's a friendly! If you want to be picky, Nyatanga got done for pace numerous times, RNL was caught out of position too often and there were too many misplaced passes from Cywka. These all led to good chances for them.

McNulty actually played some very good forward passes and looked calm on te ball. Of course, you concentrate on the one mistake and claim he looks like he's come in off the street. Mental. It's getting pathetic.

Like others have said above, he made one mistake, and we didn't even concede a goal from it.
If you go into a game, looking for faults in McNulty, you're going to find faults in him, no matter how well he plays.

That's a fair shout, he's not our best, he's a squad player. He's a Barnsley FC player though and as long as he plays like he did tonight before he got Usained i.e steady and some nice passes, whenever he's called upon to play, he'll get the same support as the rest. I hope he gets a goal this season. I wonder what he'll do to celebrate. I know what I'd do. A Billy Casper to the Ponty.

I wonder if Wiseman has forgiven the fans or the unfair abuse he received yet.

Give it a rest CT. Let's get behind em this season, all of them. We all saw what positivity can do last season, let's give it a go for a full season.

I doubt it Blivy. I reckon he plays for the manager ,his team mates and the wage. I'm sure he's grateful for the support he got from some. Maybe I'm wrong and he's chillaxed about it or Reverend Hassell has taught him how to forgive like Jesus. :)
