    I have this. Much better quality too than this creaky vhs. I've got a ton of stuff. Saw Elliott a few times in London (that).

    son bitch. properly envious. that's one of my biggest regrets, not seeing him when i had the chance. a friend of a friend got top kudos marks, for seeing nick drake in aix-en-provence. still not convinced i believe him though...

    It's a great show and I like Jon Brion, but Elliott is really struggling. He has a... ahem, cold and needs to get himself sorted quick.

    I've seen this video before, but thanks for posting it anyway! Elliott Smith is probably my favourite solo artist of all time, he truly was quite a genius indeed!

    I never got to see him live, but compared to some other live performances that I've seen on Youtube and elsewhere, I think Elliott sounds and looks fairly sharp here...

    I don't care about most of the songs "Roman Candle" (it's still a decent one though), but the rest of his albums and most of the b-sides and unreleased tracks are pure gold.

    You've probably seen this live session too, but just in case you haven't, it's definitely worth checking out!
