I used to work at Casa Disco (and Micro Fun) would be interested to find out how the guy got a casa disco t-shirt. I'd like one - I still think I have a few of the little gold 7" single bags knocking around.

I'm with you on that. My favourite pub, ever. My first underage drinks were in there - lager and black. I shudder at the thought of drinking that now.

Such a shame they had to knock down such a "character" pub, for a shopping redevelopment. It was a few hundred years old.

Looks like I'm swimming against the tide but I always preferred EGS Records to Casa Disco. Another shop I enjoyed when I was wee was Don Valley Sports.

Pub. Oliver's Ale House. Plenty of Friday nights spent in there and the Beggar when I was in the sixth form at Kirk Balk.

Raynor's pie shop, bottom of the Arcade. Old man Raynor was a director at Oakwell. God knows what was in the pies, but they were nice, served with gravy and sloppy peas. Where I first learnt to eat mustard as well, early 1950s. If we can't have Raynor's back, then second choice would be Albert Hirst's at the bottom of New Street, where the bobby with the tash used to stand on point duty. Mmmmmmmmm. Pies.
