just a concerned resident whos relieved that there was no emergency in the area today thanks to some peoples inconsiderate parking

How do you feel about the motorists who drive along Grove Street and the surrounding areas at 4:50 on a Saturday afternoon knowing full well that people are walking out of the ground at that time?

Where abouts couldn't emergency vehicles get that they could on a normal day? It can't be grove street because residents double park there all the time.

Then why didn't you invest your time with a quick phone all to the Police stating your concerns, rather than coming on here moaning about it?

The time it took to log in, find the site, sign in, type your post and upload 3 lovely pictures of cars (no Lamborghini's unfortunately) must be much more than a phone call to the local constabulary, who I'm sure would be happy to help.

By the way, emergency vehicles would probably have been able to get to the ground/surrounding area from the other side of the ground anyway. Those roads are much wider.

Today the club should have ensured this did not happen , as a neighbour of the local residents its the least they should have done

How can the club stop it? They have no jurisdiction outside the ground and as said above, residents and their visitors double park on grove street all the time

They should have provided stewards who ensured the car park was used , any normal local company worth their salt would have done it

I really do find the complete fecking stupidity of some posters on here completely unbelievable.
There was a FREE CARPARK, and people parked like ****s. Yet the ones parking like that are deemed to be ok and the ones that are inconvenienced are deemed to be moaning cnuts!!!

I am at a loss as to see why anyone can, in anyway, find these events OK ?
I even agree with mrx !!!! Now that is worrying

But Keysie, your photos prove that emergency vehicles COULD get down Grove Street if needed - so that argument is not valid.

However, I empathise if people have parked across garages or access roads - if so, you have a valid point, and they are bang out of order.

Perhaps write a letter to Ben Mansford, as surely a business like BFC would not knowingly want to antagonise immediate neighbours. Then next year BFC will hopefully ensure people park in the official car park free of charge and such that they will not get blocked in.

Simple.

actually im always on and have been a member on here for many years in various guises... so no need to find the site or log on as its bookmarked and auto logged on - i dont tend to post very often just read the various threads as i do get fed up of the constant name calling and pathetic personal abuse that some people dish out - i think my point has been proven in this entire thread!
