    I noticed one or two threads which seemed to suggest that Flicker had said it was dead, but I can't find anything?

    I got the impression from his last interview it was dead. Said we had talked to him but then went on to say some players aren't up for the challenge etc. I took that to mean it was a no go but could be wrong.

    He said on Football Heaven tonight that there's no chance of anyone coming in before Saturday and that he was fully focused on that. Uniform answer I suppose but i reckon if he was going to sign, he would have by now, Flicker doesn't seem the type to hang around.
