I've not really been looking mind, but its usually this time every year that everyone gets offended by the media predicting us for certain doom. The racing post name just Doncaster and Blackpool for relegation and Blackburn and Bournemouth to do worse than the betting suggests.
Aye I got the Racing Post today for the free 72 page pull out guide of all the leagues. Never bought it before but well worth the two quid fee. Surprised we weren't listed in the two clubs tipped for relegation but they did say elsewhere they don't think we have strengthened our squad and talked up Mellis.
That's seriously lazy journalism in the Post today. Research would have shown that we patently have strengthened our squad. Also the comment about our "luck running out" implies nothing has changed at Oakwell. The writer must have missed the second half of last season! It's all to the good though - because it means there were some viable bets to be had given the extent to which we've been underestimated.
I think the only reason the Post didn't tip up Yeovil for the drop is because they're odds on to go down - and not a worthwhile investment.
I think around even money is a brilliant bet with Yeovil to go down. Add it with Blunts to finish above Millers and Bradford also around evens and you've a good 3/1 ish double there.
