Kin'ell. They're up in arms at the caravan park. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-fans-hes-sticking-with-the-band-8742047.html
Re: why would they be up in arms ? who we got?.... Good publicity that for them. Giving a guy from such a well known worldwide group a squad number they will be hoping to sell thousands of shirts to their fans across the globe.
Re: why would they be up in arms ? who we got?.... That's going to go down well with their fans when they are struggling to sign players!
Re: why would they be up in arms ? who we got?.... That's the big issue, we are sadly lacking players for Saturday & they do this! That Sky Sports News feature was really annoying but when you read into it it's great publicity for the club & going to be great for his charity. One big downside I can see is our biggest crowd of the season is going to be for the reserve game he plays in. I can feel the joke machine firing up already.
Re: why would they be up in arms ? who we got?.... Probably right mate, if the rest of his Band mates can be convinced to come along and watch... you'll probably be able to sell out the Keepmoat 3 times over to the 1Div's. But 15,000 screaming 12 year olds would be my idea of hell!! Probably be a nice little earner though.... Tickets, Shirts and food sales £££££££££££
I fail to see why this is even remotely to do with signing players... it is obviously a stunt to get some cash in when he takes to the pitch in the said reserve game.I cannot see how putting the lad in squad shirt would affect the signing of new players
