Mansford said at the ST holders evening that ticket sales weren't massively up, that was only ten days ago, said it was only a few hundred - 7500 is maybe 700 more than last year?
There will be plenty of us payer on the dayer crew. I won't make night games so makes no sense to get a season ticket. And lots of folk I know are in that same boat. Then there will be a fair few who will want to dip their toe in. See how things feel. I think a lot of damage was done over the last few years. We all know that. And staying up last season and the Summer activity may not be enough to coax back the 3,000 or so lapsed ST holders. If we have sold over 8,000 we have done well IMO. As I say, a lot will pay on the day now the price is more palatable, and there are no hoops to jump through.
After the positivity about the place I was hoping for more than that tbh. Important season for us, in terms of football and for getting people back t well.
"I won't make night games so makes no sense to get a season ticket." We've got 4 evening kick-offs at home this season. So, 19 afternoon games. 19 games @ £23 = £437. Season ticket in the Ponty End £335. Could save yourself £102 there mate.
I reckon it will be over the 8000 mark. The box office isn't always reliable with facts and figures as I found out with the Cardiff away game last season with one thing or another.
