your right mate, but how many seasons has it been said now, folk get pissed off bcos the bookies always have us a relegation favourites, but realistically they have every right to do so, we battle relegation every year and this year will prob be no different

Sarcasm. Lowest form of wit etc.
what I was pleased with was the fact that we played well. We deserved to win. I was pleased with the fact that the momentum seemed to be building. I was pleased with o'brien, wiseman, mvoto, wiseman, Perkins, digby, and Cywka. I was pleased with our organisation and our drive. I wasn't pleased with our missed chances and their proxy goal after we had defended so well. I am pleased with our manager and his team and am optimistic about the future. I'm not pleased with the same old cynics moaning and groaning after just two games but that will never change. Fickle people will be forever fickle.
I guess you're one of those.
Your poor attempt at humour is wasted and in my opinion sir, you are a fool.

I wasn't a fan of him when he was appointed but i got slated on here when I viewed my own opinion.
Worked wonders to the latter part of last season and should be credited for that. I Still think he's too much like Hill but I really hope he picks us up and gets our season started asap. I'm hoping for a season where we finish safe in the league AND have the same manager that started it!

I completely agree about relegation battles, it's killing the appetite of a lot of fans but I don't think we can really assess Flicker and the probable outcome of this season until around ten games in. I don't think we're a long way from being a mid table side.

The way people are reacting after 2 games you'd think they want a new manager already

I don't want a new manager, I really hope he's proves to be good this season and we need stabilaty (although I don't think our new chairman will accept losing all the time tbh), although I didn't want Flicker at first he has won me around, just hope we're not playing catch up again.

Well some fooking team we played did! Unless we dont count goals that go in off our own players? But then how did the ball get in that place if it was not from Blackpool`s play ?

This thread is as daft as those where the professional supporters slate anyone who has the temerity to criticise.

**** start but Flitcroft has earned the right to give it his best shot.

So did a Barnsley player throw it in then ? Or maybe it was a Blackpool tactic, one that we failed to deal with?

Unfortunately I wasn't at the game..so I can't say definitively..but my guess is that Blackpool just threw a long hopeful throw in and got lucky....hardly penetrated by a sweeping move from Barcelona or Madrids Galacticos.
