Professional, not Dog and Duck vs Chilean Miners

Went to Hartlepool vs Swansea a couple of years back towards end of season as Swans were top and going up. Also Gateshead vs Workington.

    I'm bored

    Japan vs Egypt

Quarter finals of the Olympic football last summer, at Old Trafford.

Pretty entertaining game, finished 3-0 Japan.

One of only 2 games I think ive been to that didn't involve the reds. The other being Rotherham 1-3 Shrewsbury a few years ago at the DVS.

Wisbech Town v Brackley, Eastern Counties League. In that part of the world with the lad for a different purpose entirely, saw the crowd and followed it.

Lovely little ground, good game and atmosphere, brilliant pie & peas.

Forfar 8 Queen of the South 3 in the Scottish Cup when I lived in Dundee in the 1990s. I had a mate who supported Forfar. It is still the maddest game of football I have ever seen.

    Ross County v Queen's Park

Went to caravan site in Dingwall, and their ground is literally across a small access road, and they were due to kick off, so we wondered over.

That was a good few years ago, when Ross County were in lowest league, not Scottish Premier.

Don't think I've ever been to a professional game that doesn't involve us, excluding the odd England U19s, U21's etc.

Queen Of The South 2 Forfar Athletic 1

September 1988. We were on holiday in the Dumfries & Galloway area, so I popped in to watch the game. It happened to be the only win Queen Of The South managed that season.
On the same day, Barnsley drew 1-1 with Chelsea. Steve Cooper for Barnsley & Clive Wilson of Chelsea were sent off. I think Barnsley may have had another player dismissed that day, but I could be wrong.

Went to quite a few Rotherham, Donny and Sheff Utd games in the 70's when the reds were away we'd go with mates easy to get to on buses from wath, Remember Sheff UTD 1 Leeds 1, scrapping all along Shoreham street and I remember Rotherham stuffing Palace 4-1,Malcolm Allison in his fedora and sheepskin coat.

Well found Barnsley Joe! I never thought to look for it on YouTube. I haven't seen those goals since the day they were scored. I think we should get David Bingham in to coach Daggers!

Went to Wembley earlier in year to see Coventry v spurs FA Cup final 87 or 88 can't be bothered to look it up but was hoping spurs were gonna win as that was the end we were in but leading up to the game the spurs fans were utter cnuts to the mainly mild mannered blues fans so I was chuffed to bits when they won.
So went to cheer em on at hillsbro. Been to hillsbro a few times to see teams other than the tykes but always to cheer the opposition.

Been to a handful of non BFC games. Used to go see Diamonds when Barnsley weren't playing, that was back when Van Der Velden played for them, often used to have a chat with him, was a decent guy! Went to see them in the play off final at Cardiff when they lost to Cheltenham. I think Devaney may have scored for Cheltenham?

Went to see Blackburn v Spurs years ago, next door neighbour father and son were Spurs and Blackburn respectively, so went along to that one. Think it was 1-1

Been to see AFC Wimbledon a few times too, Northampton away last season, they lost, Luton away 3/4 years back, think it was a draw, and then their Play Off final against Luton at the Etihad, when they won on penalties. Really enjoyed that one! Cracking atmosphere
