I really hope Mcnulty and hassell were injured because that defence was embarrassing! Playing 2 wing backs in centre half positions works a treat! They were the worst team I've seen in 2 years yet we draw from 2.0 up!! My opinion it's gonna be a long season at the bottom!!

Game thrown away by a poor substitution. Granted that the defending was questionable.

5 defenders and 3 defensive midfielders and still can't defend.

Spot on. If he was going to take Mellis off cos he cant do the 90 then it shouldn't have been Digby coming on. We were on top and that just substitution just invited them to attack us.

That would have been my option or you could go 3 up front by putting Scotland on

Mellis wasn't poor today, he was much more effective. Him going off cost us the game. The midfielders were on top of each other and we stopped retaining the ball because the forwards were isolated.

I thought Wiseman and Kennedy had decent games. Would need to see the first goal again, but for the second Mvoto got dragged out of position chasing the ball

    Agree about Mellis.

All the defenders look like they have got a mistake in them. Very worrying.

Thought Kennady and Dawson were by far our worst players

    Thought defence looked solid today.

Strange thing is we usually leave Wiseman back every time, but we had him forward with Kennedy back. With Wiseman back that was no goal with him chasing back and getting to the ball before Church.

Kennedy is not a wing back.

Have to disagree. The cross for the second goal was only the highlight. Plus he has the quality to unlock.

Really? I thought Kennedy had a cracking game. We wouldn't have been anywhere near as effective without his pinpoint lofted passes into O'Grady's chest and feet. I thought Dawson had good game as well but he'll always get stick now he's the new scapegoat.

Mellis wasn't poor today, he was getting more and more into the game second half. Charlton were poor at the back and Mellis was linking well down the left side.

Tactics and some subs already questionable this season, something which never did last season.

Flicker obv took mellis off hoping to save the lead. Not because he couldn't last the 90. If that was the case he would off brought cywka on. But he went defensive. Which was a bad thing to do at the time. If he was going to take mellis off it should off happened when we went 2-0 up. They were going to get a boost when they score there 1st goal and there defenders had no pressure. Which allowed there midfielders am strikers to cause problems . We need to carry on with 352 with mellis attacking. But just need to pick the right players

Steele should have caught the first one he punched and Kennedy should have cleared the 2nd off the line. Flicker can't be blamed for the goals we let in even though i'd prefer Hassell in our team.
