They definitely picked out Perks for some brutal treatment for which he eventually had to leave the field. Once he'd gone, they weren't half as bad. Minds't you that is not what cost us the 2 points, thats all down to Flicker and his substitution.

Their little five foot nothing left winger dished it out to O'Brien the whole game but somehow got away with it. Thank goodness he didn't play as well as last season though because he ripped us to shreds on that day.

I thought Perkins was targeted from the kick off, possibly because he was outstanding at the Valley last season. It certainly left us weaker even though Etuhu had a decent game when he came on

i though so to , the first half lots of little knocks hear and there, they kicked perkins out of the game, but when Ethu came on his first tackle ended with one of there players on the floor, didn,t think they were as bad in second half though

Thought O`Grady left his pass to Perkins a bit short on the one where he got injured. Hospital pass owes him a drink IMO.

Was it much different to the challenge that Jennings was sent off for a couple of weeks ago? Looked very strong to say the least from the Ponty.

Was a bad tackle on Perkins and they got the free kick from it too

I agree. Pretty rough early doors. Definitely targeted Perks and the winger was at Jimbo constantly. They did calm it down once they'd done Perks. To be honest people on here are saying Charlton were rubbish, but I disagree. They came out for the second half - no doubt after a half time blocking from Powell - and looked sharper and certainly better organised and more threatening. Blackpool were rubbish. Charlton are a better team than them. Early doors. We arena better team than both Charlton and Blackpool.
