    He just goes a bit squeaky when he gets excited. I don't think his opinions are particularly bad.

    His opinions are ok, but the fact he sounds like someone's trying to tune a 1940's radio in on full volume is feckin annoying to say the least!

    To be fair to him, I remember when g.nev first started. He was awful everyone was slating him and look how good he's turned out in a years time

    What is wrong with giving a presenter a job, I just don't see why every single football programme has to be packed with ex pro's. I don't really give a **** that they used to play in the premier league, it doesn't make their opinion any more valid to me.

    Depends who it is, you can get insight from someone who's played at that level. For example, watching the athletics and having people like Micheal Johnson giving comment, or the tennis with John McEnroe, they can give an insight into what goes on in the dressing room or the mental side of it.

    Then again, I just had to turn Carragher off!

    i thought he was top class! him and g nev know a hell of a lot at its good to hear. i love it when he gets excited his voice completly goes....good to have monday night football with them 2!
