Flicker has said he wants to sign Dicker, but he will have to move players on before he can get him, he wants a squad of 20, not 25/26

    My Guess is:
    Rose, Cofie, McNulty, Hassell,

Anymore? Need to get shut of a CM cause if Dicker does sign we will have, Dawson, Perkins, Mellis, Etuhu, Digby, Dicker, McCourt

Can't see him bringing in a midfielder and getting rid of a CH and a RB.

Rose will/should go on loan.......toughen him up a bit.

I also think now we have signed McCourt and probably Dicker, then we are over-loaded in midfield.
May well be a surprising departure? My guess is Perkins.

    No chance Perkins!

    Obrien is my guess.

Dawson would be the rational choice. Not that I'm suddenly all against him like many on here, I just think that he offers the least of our centre mids

O'brien and RNL in my opinion (not that I want them to leave)

When he said getting players out, he mentioned getting them out on loan. I'd imagine he means the younger players like Rose, Cofie, etc. In all honesty, a run of regular games probably wouldn't do Noble-Lazarus and Digby any harm.

When you take away the younger players (Patterson, Knight, Scott, Clark, Cofie, Dibble, Rose, Oates and maybe Digby and Noble-Lazarus) that leaves 22 players. With the exception of McNulty, there's nobody else that I can see leaving, or want to leave.

How long has Perkins got left under contract? I wouldn't want to lose him, great player for us, but how many midfielders can we hold?

Can't see Jimbo going, as he is very much a utility player.

Flicker stated on his interview today that his squad size needs to be 20, as this fits with what he calls "dynamics".

You never know, we might have had some enquiries for first team players and now Flicker has got McCourt and hopefully Dicker in, we might see a surprise departure?

Do you mean us selling Perkins? Because there is absolutely no chance of him being sent out on loan. I can't see any club offering a decent amount of money for him because of his age. We'd be much better off keeping him.

If you don't include the youngsters our squad includes:
    GK: Steele Alnwick
    RB: Wiseman Hassell
    CB: M'Voto McNulty Cranie Nyatanga
    LB: Kennedy Golbourne
    CM: Perkins Dawson Etuhu Mellis
    RW:O'Brien McCourt
    LW: Jennings Cywka
    ST: O'Grady Dagnall Pedersen Scotland

Two for each position. I can't see any of those being loaned out. I think it's more likely that any not named there would go.

Top class summary and looks a well balanced squad.

I think the only loanees would be the young lads (so none of the above).......lets see what the next few days brings.

Why not Perkins if they can't agree a new contract get shut and get some money in.

We would struggle to replace Perks with any kind of money we'd get for him.

Fair point and the lad is reaching an age where his value will only decrease.

As much as I rate him, there will be a value that could trigger a transfer (as there is for every player).

I am sure I read, almost immediately after end of last season, that Perkins had one year left on his contract and that he would weigh up his options as he would like one chance at playing at a higher level.

I also know there was a few clubs interested.

    Then it all went quiet.......
