**** me how slow and clumsy was Mvoto. Put Hassell or Foster there and we were comfortable,
Flitcroft is going the same way as his mate, play his own signings and ignore competent decent players.
It will be his downfall, unless he changes.
oh and last season has gone, This is his team, his players, his tactics.

Jordan Rhodes has already admitted to backing in to Mvoto

Smart forward play or simulation? I'm in the fence with this one, there was contact and he was the last man therefore it's a sending off? But with Rhodes admitting he backed into him or 'dived' as flicker said does this change anything?

Never a red card IMO but you're right it was clumsy.

It's going to get upheld and probably punished further if we try to appeal it.

Its hardly clumsy when somebody deliberately stops a run to back in to you..it just looks a clumsy challenge

Clearly killed the game for us. He shouldn't of touched him. Should of let Steele try his best to keep out the shot that was coming. At 1-1 with 11 players on the pitch we were still well in the game. To have him sent of them concede straight away was a massive blow

Thats the point,he didn't deliberately touch him.. Jordan Rhodes stopped because his first touch was poor..in order to cause MVoto to touch him and go down asap...skilful forward play or simulation...better than the simulation a few minutes before when one of their players committed an outrageous dive in the box...the ref waved play on,but a card then might have deterred Rhodes.

To have our only natural centre back on the pitch sent off it killed us, especially when we didn't replace him.

But it was never a sending off.

Clumbsy yes, free kick yes, but red card not a chance... Two defenders covering... No studs showing or violent play so how do you justify red...

Who were also playing with 10 men after Jones was sent off. The Jones on loan from us.
