    Nothing to do with the entertainment though, is it?

    They could've scored 30 goals in 4 games and the fans still won't turn up until Coventry City FC are playing in Coventry.

    If they moved BFC out of Barnsley I doubt we'd even get 2,000. Hard enough to muster 9,000 on our own doorstep most weeks.

    Probably less, it wouldn't feel like the same club to me.

    I`d probably feel the same, but would have to weigh up the extra cost and the ballache it would give me.

    there was once an offer on the table of a new stadium for BFC at....

    Dodworth, just off the M1 Junction 37. I would really have like that to be honest. Better for travelling fans, yobs out of the town center. Better access and parking. Would have made sound sense.

    Try further....it's 35 miles from Coventry stadium to Northampton stadium.

    So think us playing home games at Bradford or Chesterfield!

    They had the option of playing at the Ricoh on much reduced rent I think DT.

    Pretty sure it was rent free but they turned it down as a matter of principle.

    I'd say that Cov moving from their spiritual home of Highfield Road to a Lego arena on the edge of town with motorway access was the beginning of their downfall.

    I was thinking exactly just that yesterday when I found out the result against Preston. Obviously it runs a lot deeper then entertainment and supporting the current set of lads :/
