    I'd all but given up on my professional football career, but a quick look on Mike Pollitt's Wikipedia page shows him to be older* than me! By 42 days! There's still chance for me yet.

    *He's actually only 10, he was born on a leap day.

    Steeles time at the WELL is coming to an end............Flicka is building a team and Steele isn't good enough for that team

    After the last few debacles the defence will be more than shacky if they know Steele is in the nets

    What I remember of Mike Pollitt is that he used to be a really good keeper.

    Strange one. It could be to give Steele a much needed kick up the backside, but then that doesn't look very promising for Alnwick. Or maybe we've received some interest in Steele.

    I'd guess it's the former, because he has been f*cking gash recently.

    Steele is not the problem, a defence( and I include midfield and attack) that virtually downs tools cos a payer has been sent off is a disgrace imo and to suggest that its cos they have no confidence in the goalkeeper is absolute nonsense.
    Some things happened at well in pre season as far as moral and or tactics are concerned don't want to speculate as to reasons but they are far from the team since new year.
    Hope it gets sorted but in my opinion some of the players have just not bought into what the management are doing this season and it needs sorting asap.
