    Tranmere away 1994, lost 6-1.

Took the wife for a day out on her birthday as well...

Without doubt, the 2-0 defeat against Norwich that saw us relegated.
The opening day 4-0 hammering at Bradford wasn't great.
The first half at Bristol City last season.
Wednesday away, the night Spackman's reign of **** ended.
    Huddersfield at home last season.
    That infamous towelling at Grimsby.
Wednesday beating us 3-0 at Oakwell.
    **** me, great memories..

Took my girlfriend to her first ever(*) BFC game, as we were both at Liverpool University at the time. She was really impressed.

    * Her first ever game may have been at home to Rochdale when we lost 1-3. Which ever game came first!!!!

She still likes Mick McCarthy, even though She and I divorced many years ago.

I was at that game and we didn't play *that* badly. Just about every time Tranmere went into our half they scored, while we had better possession for long periods.

I think I only saw 2 of those goals. I think the way it worked out was that we were delayed on the motorway and were already 2 behind when we arrived. I saw 2 of the next 3 goals, missing one 'cos I'd gone down the back for a pie. By the time goal 6 went in we were already on the motorway back home !!

It was a Tuesday night game as I remember, so we went to North Wales for the day out, Rhyl I think, so we were coming in from the other side so unfortunatly we were there for kick off.....

I lived on the outskirts of Chester at the time and was stuck in the middle of the Tranmere fans as it was all-ticket for us (their stand was being rebuilt).
