The only player this system suits is Mellis. When Mellis is out of form as he is at the minute the system is completely in ineffective. Its time to go back to 4-4-2 and let Golbourne and the right back concentrate on defending, whilst linking up with the wide men. We've got some decent wide players now and its time to start playing with width rather than looking to play everything through the middle with Mellis or just putting useless crosses in from deep. Cywka/Jennings/Mccourt/JOB gives us plenty of options out wide, whilst using etuhu and Daws or Perks to drive us on in midfield. I like Mellis but he isnt good enough to carry us and in our current formation.

Time to go back to basics Flicker.

THey played 4 at the back but Fox and Clyne the full backs, were fantastic.

Exactly what I've been saying. The rest of our squad suits playing with wingers and two central holding grafting midfielders ( choose from Perkins, Digby, ethuhu and Dawson. Wingers choose from Tomas, JOB ,RNL,Mc Court and Jennings.
Strikers ... two from COG Daggers Scotland and Pedersen . Sorted. Though I have no idea what you do with that defence!

Agreed Fired. Wiseman, Craine, Nyatanga and Golbourne would be a reasonable back 4 its just getting them all fit!

Seriously? You want to go to 4 in midfield, two grafters central?
    Wow.
The formation isn't the issue. My PM facility is in working order...

Alot of us think we lack creativity and look like we're going through the motions but you want to go back to 442? Complete mistake IMO. We will get over run every game. Not many teams play 442 in this league. And cywka is always rubbish when he starts a game. 442 with JOB would be shocking to watch. Wouldn't come out our half. Can't comment on Jennings and McCourt till they've played but not exactly excited to see Jennings play. And RNL playa 1 game and misses 3 due to injury! I've seen better players in league 2 than Jim o'brien. He works hard but is not what we need. That's why we will be a middle table league 1 team before we know it
