Totally agree, im sorry but i hope im wrong but i predict we wont have 6 points from our first ten games. Whilst Flicker has had bad luck in terms of injuries and suspensions he is at fault for playing people out of position, poor substitions and team selection. Hope maurice brings in a contact from Man utd who builds from the back. Flickers is either out of depth or just needs to simplify things.
Is he even a motivator?? Thumped by five goals saturday thumped by five last night... please explain the motivation given there???
A motivator gives desire and energy to a team, but when we are low on confidence its almost impossible and motivation doesnt stop plain s.hit defending
Personally, I think Flitcroft and the management team have more about them than just being good motivators. It wasn't all graft and running last year. At times we played some decent football and we were able to adapt formations to suit the opposition. It amazed me how many times we got it right to be honest. It seemed when 3-5-2 and width was required, we did it. When we needed to tighten up in midfield, it happened and when we needed to go direct, O'Grady was used to perfection. Perhaps the effort from the players disguised it a bit and I think Flicker has got a bit carried away. Every selection tinker, formation change and substitution seems to have gone t1ts up this season. We're probably due a slice of luck and we'll see where we are when this happens. A manager trying to be too clever isn't uncommon. I hope that in 3 or 4 games with players returning from injury and suspension the side will be a bit more settled and the changes will be through choice rather than necessity.
