There were two old boys ran a framing studio smack outside Wombwell train station. Woodside Products is the name if memory serves. Not used them for a couple of years and they may have retired. If not they tick all your boxes.
Bloke on May Day Green. Used him plenty, not sure if he's cheap but the frames are good quality and made to measure. Delivered back within a week. On the left when you walk in to the market past old Greenwoods & Thomas Cook.
Allan in the market is very reasonable and does a good job. If you use a ready made frame, he will finish it off quite affordably. Or the one in Elsecar Heritage centre is a bit more classy for bespoke framing.
You failed me Revvie. Although from what the fella said, I might be doomed to failure wherever I go. I wanted the new frame to match one I already had, which I have now been reliably informed is limed, buffed and lacquered ash and the old boy hadn't seen it for above 10 years, nor did he know where I'd get it from. Ho Hum.
Im in need of one aswell. Won the racing colours of kings best who won 2000 guiness a few year ago ,signed by keiran kallon at donny last week
Defo Hall of Frame for that. Seen some of that type of thing that they've done (shirts, boxing gloves etc) and it looks really good. In the Heritage centre at Elsecar.
Hall of frame at Elsecar, she did me Mr C's print and reframed a water colour that a relative did in 1954 both now look terrific.
a mate of mines dad frames pictures, Impact Frames i think it's called, he has a unit in the business estate opposite the club just past the kia garage. He's framed a few things for myself and my family and he's done a top job every time.
