It all depends on how much. Decent player. Excellent last season. If we play with wing backs we have RNL and in a flat back four we have TK, McNulty, Nyatanga etc so it all depends on how much for me.

Selling first team regulars to a League 1 club - that smacks of no ambition at the club. Can I get a refund on my season ticket as it's just going from bad to worse.

I've heard he wants out so we were bound to accept it.

RNL at WB or FB for me.

Golbourne is surprisingly one-footed for a supposedly Championship standard player.

We definitely need a new LB/LWB i think its matter of time until we find out RNL isnt defensively good enough

is it just me who never saw really all that much from him? its always easy to say if as it seems he's on his way but i wouldnt be that miffed if he did go.

as for our formation we probably need a new left back if we play 442, nothing ive seen from Kennedy indicates he is up to the job.

Get Neil Thompson on the phone, he's not 50 for another couple of months. Surely he's been mates with Flicker at some point!?

Serious note though, we def need to look at formation now. We can't have both full backs been players that are new to that position.

Re: If Cranie and Nyatanga are fit

Maybe I see things differently to everyone else but RNL has never ever been a defender. He gets caught out far too much to play lb in The Championship. Good winger but won't make a defender.

Kennedy will be just fine if he stops hoying long balls forward every time he gets it. 50% of said long balls don't even stay in play!

RNL never will be a FB / WB. Why hold the lad back from his natural game.

Fair enough Kennedy not had the best start to season, but then who can we say as, but 442 play him LB.

His performances this season so far make me think meh to this news. He obviously doesn't want to be here so thanks Scott, now take your ridiculous hair and **** off. Hope we make a tidy profit on him, tis all I am bothered about.

Golbourne was pretty average when he arrived but had started to play out of his skin before getting injured last season.
This season however, he has been very poor and was particularly bad at Blackburn last week.
He doesn't look as if he wants to be playing for us imho. If the fee is decent then it's good business. If Flicker wants to persist with wing backs then RNL is well capable. This opportunity could be the making of him.

    My prediction on this one...

Golbourne sods off for more money at the first opportunity to Wolves.

Wolves get promoted back to the Champ this season. Wolves spend big next season. Golbourne is surplus to requirements, has been out of the Champ for too long and ends up at a League 1 club.

    Si thi.

Re: My prediction on this one...

What formation does Flicker want to play though? Seems he's moving away from wingbacks given he's signed a winger in McCourt. So maybe he thinks Goldborne isnt a good a left back as he is WB and is surplus to requirements.
