Another thing is that this is not Stevenage that have come knocking, it is Wolves. I accept they are a league one club at the moment but they are genuinely a big club. I'll take a wager with anyone that within two seasons they will be in the same or a higher league than us.

We've all said stuff that we've gone back on in the past. Fact is the club have accepted an offer for him. If they're giving him a good deal he's within his rights to go. The club didn't have to accept it. He's still in contract.

 

Then a club comes along who has probably made a very good offer to him. Kenny Jackett then sells him his vision as to how he fits in with the club's promotion push ?

When you look at it, he's a lad from Bristol who has spent his career until us in that part of the world... Exeter and Reading etc.

Maybe him wanting to leave is the simple personal fact that he hasn't settled in Yorkshire and wants to move back closer to that sort of area, and nothing to do with extra money or him falling out with the management or anything like that.
