I don't think he'll be the last, either

One, perhaps two, could well be moved on before 11PM on Monday. The ones with a year left on their contract are the most likely, in my view.

Dagnall and Scotland then. Use the Golbourne rumoured 1.2 million to try and bring in a marqee striker like Billy Sharp even if it's a loan. COG, Pederson and Sharp (or Lita if Billy is out of reach) with the occasional game time to Rose/Cofie to help their development. Those five is more than enough for our front line.

    Why?

It could just as easily be Perkins, Dawson or Mellis, for example. I'd suggest it's highly unlikely to be Scotland, as it's only a couple of months since he was offered and signed a new contract. Dagnall is a plausible option. As for the fee being £1.2M for a Championship full back in the last year of his contract, I'd doubt that figure has much accuracy. Even with potential add ons (winning promotion for example) it seems somewhat OTT.
I'm also assuming the club still needs to sell players in order to break even.

    Of those mentioned

I suspect Mellis is most likely given that there's been interest in him already (Palace) and the players we've brought in, formations we've been playing, suggest we have other options, likely to go for highest fee. Could be, and often am, wrong, like.

Golbourne is an average left back and very poor wing back.

No problem at all in selling him for the right fee, which I would think will be ~£300K.

£1.2m!?!? Where the hell has that figure come from, Dreamboy?

I'm a fan of Golbourne but i'd piggyback him there for that.

Just inside the link I posted from the Wolves forum and they linked it to Barnsley Chronicle but can't see anything from Chronicle to back it up.

To be honest, when I step back and look at this transfer, it has failure written all over it. Big mistake by the lad with the daft hair.
