We have had a shaky start but I'm sure him and his management team will sort it

I'm with you Nudger on this one,far too soon to write the team off.I still would have played Alnwick on Tuesday but at the end of the day its down to the manager. My view is and always will be if a manager gets it right he gets a pay rise and a better contract,if he gets it wrong he gets the sack.

I alao think it's too early to moan too much. It's a crappy start but I believe the squad is actually stronger this season than the end of last. Hopefully when the manager can get a settled side we will start picking up points. Having said that I have my own views about formations and certain players like we all do and I don't want to see O'Brien as full back/wing back on Saturday - I think it's inviting trouble

I still support Flicker too. I think he's having a hard time at the moment: bloody hell, it must be hard to be Barnsley manager, on top of a difficult time in his family life. I can't imagine. You can see some mortal traits this season, such as blaming Rhodes/ the ref in the Blackburn match which I've never heard him do before. Crap injuries, and perhaps we need a bit more solidity at the back with the Golbourne space

Feckcroft? Bloody hell, the bloke completely turns us around and saves us last season, yet after 4 league games the following season folk are calling him names?

Get a bloody grip of yourself you buffoon.

Everyone is entitled to opinion, but name calling is pathetic.

I would also argue that everyone deserves a fair crack of the whip, and no-one can argue that Flicker has had that after 4 league games.

We were saved last season cos peterborough conceded a last minute goal and we were saved the season before cos portsmouth had points deducted

We were saved because we had more points than the relegated teams,

    Portsmouth - valid

Peterborough - off your rocker with that one! We stayed up because we finished above them in the league

Yes we were, but I think the point that is being made, is that the last two seasons we have stayed up with a very large element of luck.

What we need is a solid mid-table points tally......obvious, but looking hard to achieve at current performance/commitment levels.

No. Last season over 46 games we were better than Peterborough, Bristol City and Wolves.

I would have said last season was down to very hard work rather than luck IMO and as far as Portsmouth is concerned whis to say the lads wouldn't have got the necessary points if they'd've ad to
