Players not up to it...

It's fine, let em label us.

I'm often referred to as up Daggers and Hassell's arses (and others probably), based on me liking them as players. Sad really.

Just I was a Wiseman 'hater' etc whenever I mentioned him playing *****.

It's how some folk work. In extremities. No middle ground.

As I said, I like all our players and believe each one of them offers us something. But obviously, I do like some more than others. That simple, really.

When I post "I don't think TK should be in the team this week" it means I'm of the opinion that he either needs a rest, doesn't suit the formation, or there are better options available to us.
It doesn't mean I don't value him as a player or that he should never again play for BFC.

Cue the 'BUT DAGNALL IS GASH" response from FlickersSack.

Daggers is a striker who doesnt score which is what hes there to do. Is your head that firmly planted up his a**e that you cant see that. Hes league two standard at best and if his contract is renewed then i think even youve got a chance of turning out.

Quite simply atrocious. Im still confused how you like that goal scoring record?

Scored more goals last season than Aaron McLean has in 3 years. Yet you wanted us to sign him, didn't you?

Did you use to berate Paul Wilkinson in this same manner? Was he 'atrocious' as well?

Was Daggers League Two standard when he scored last weekend? Or when he scored 10 goals last season? You know, when he topped our scoring chart?

And again with the silly **** - "head up his arse" etc. Are you a juvenile? If so, ignore the Wilko question.

No coincidence that you dislike Bobby, too. And Foster. Oh, and Steele. You're just obtuse I reckon.

    But each to their own.

Nope wanted steele to sign and think hes clearly our number one but he needed competition, as Alnwick is pony.

Foster and hassle past it and were never in a good defence that cannot be argued.

Dagnall has scored 6 league goals in 49 games none of this 10 in a season including the cup. 6. If thats what you want from a striker then your in cloud cuckoo land. Chris O'Grady is the foil from which another striker needs to be feeding off, the same role Wilko played however Dagnall just runs about missing chance after chance. He is terrible.

    Chance after chance?

Name me 3 this season that he's missed. And by missed, I mean blazed over/wide or done a Dave Regis. Forcing a great save out of a keeper isn't a miss.

You see now your getting into debating stupid arguments. Against Charlton he missed two gilt edged chances which yes the keeper saved however a striker shouldnt give them a chance. If he was any good his scoring record would back it up.

Realistically your being obtuse about him, not me, because less than a goal every 8 games amounts to atrocious and no matter how many miles he clocks up it wont make up for it

How can I be obtuse? I've never stated that he's a world beater, nor have I denied that his scoring ratio isn't up to much. All I have said, is that I like him, I rate him and feel he brings something useful to the squad.

I'm not the one calling our top scorer from last season atrocious. Key goals against Leeds, Wolves, Brighton, Hull, MK Dons. Without them, we'd be in the league below.

He has 1 goal in 4 league games this season. Standard Dagnall. Set for another 10 at that rate. Which is far from League Two standard.

Anybody who saw Daggers last season cannot deny that he was foiled at least 5 times by some cracking goalkeeping. That's not me up his arse. That's me being realistic. He also made goals for others, regularly. Which he has done this season, too.

Fact of it is - my opinion - he is worthy of being used up front along with COG, Ped or Scotland. I believe they'll all score goals. Maybe not at a prolific rate, but name me a recent BFC forward to do so.... There aren't any/many. And were any of em to become prolific, a bigger club would snap them up.

Do you not cheer when he scores, btw?

Thought O'Grady bagged more league goals in his much shorter spell but could be completely wrong as i have been many times.

Yes i cheer when he scores but i barely ever get ******* chance, ive seen more rocking horse *****.

You may not reference him as a world beater but you certainly infer it with comments such as, when dagnall went off we lost all threat, and one of the best players on the pitch. ( these are not direct quotes just memories from your previous ramblings)

Foiled by cracking goal keeping, someone have a word and put that on the official stats, the only currency that matters is goals. His goals per minutes ratio would bring tears to my eyes i **** you not.

To move forward he has to leave the club, id much rather play COGBA alone than have dagnall running about chasing shadows.

For the record id love him to become the league top scorer here on out and bag 30 id literally love it, but time has shown us its never going to happen.

Memories from 2 weeks ago, when we drew 2-2 with Charlton, after which yes, I posted that Dagnall was one of the best players that day. I also said we looked worse when he and Mellis went off, so far as being a threat goes.

    Was I wrong?

Because I'm pretty sure that the local media agreed, as did most of the BBS/twitter etc.

Did you go to that game?

I did go to that game and he missed two gilt edge chances. Cheers for basically ignoring all empirical evidence and every part of the argument. Enjoy your man crush.

At least you used the word 'your' in the right place this time.

Always amuses me that certain folk can spell words such as 'atrocious' but they're unable to use 'your' or 'their' correctly.

Watching a film with r lass now.

Have a good evening. Enjoyed our debate. I was right, though. :D

If you're going to make stuff up, at least try and make it believable.
