I know jim gives 100 per cent and he loves Barnsley but I'm afraid he's just not good enough for the championship. He can't read the the game so he's forever chasing the ball which makes him look like he's trying but not achieving anything(like Robbiesavage playing against Man Utd). His control was woeful for any standard of professional ,his clearances were just hit anywhere and one near the end couldn't have been crossed better for Huddersfield if one of their players had done it.His positional sense is poor,he's just an impact player at best to give us impetus,I know a lot of barnsley fans love him but we will never progress with these type of players.
Provides much needed energy in the wing back position. I have no problem with him starting there. No other winger in our team could provide as much defensive cover as he does.
He's poor though. Some of the stuff he comes up with is laughable. Made loads of mistakes today that could have ended up costing us.
I thought he did no worse than anyone else in the team. He had a quality player up against him and he did ok for me.
Flitcroft said after the game that O'Brien at RB hasn't really worked - really glad he's finally accepted this, so I'd expect he's looking at right backs to bring in before the window closes. Still think Jim is worth a place in the team, gives every ounce and he is better on the ball than a lot of people give him credit for.
It's a tricky one because other than O'Brien our only right back is Wiseman who's playing well at centre back. Maybe he'll put Cranie at centre back & move Wiseman to right back but I'd like to see Wiseman, Cranie & Kennedy together at the back.
Ha I'm completely forgetting about Bobby mainly because Flicker doesn't play him rather than me not rating him. I'd love to see him involved.
O'Brien is a weak link at right back, rwb. He cant do it and he is out of position or just trying to hack the ball to compensate. He should not be played there by the manager. Things got even more ropey when he was asked to do full-back when the subs and formation changed. He nearly crossed for Hudds on two occasions.
JOB isn't good enough technically. We all know that. But when we're going through a particularly $hit spell, we need his energy and commitment.
The irony x 2 Sorry if my spelling does not meet your standards I can spell back stabber tho' He did , JH told me
He's learning the position of RWB. He's getting better game by game. He's a good squad player to have.
Way out of order and beyond belief really. Having a go at someone's dad on here is beyond the pale. You deserve everything Terry Nutkins is going to throw at you. If I can offer you any advice Terry mate, just leave it. I know it will be very difficult, but Mr X has just proved himself to be a pretty horrible person. He's just not worth it. From my point of view your dad is a legend at our club. Everyone I know who supports Barnsley thinks the same. The worst decision in a plethora of bad decisions over the last 15 years since it all started going wrong was releasing big Eric. After talking to John Dennis I believe he thinks the same and wishes he'd chucked Spackman out instead. Don't let this pillock get you down.
