Reckon he'd be a quality addition. Would like to see RNL given a go though. Concerned we'll end up taking Leeds younger players and making them better. Rather we did that with RNL and have kennedy as back up for LB.
We should be looking at a right wing back rather than a left. RNL is quality.. Jim on the other hand is most definitely not!
I think Flicker has said that JOB at full back isn't working so one way or another I expect he'll change things.
Aidan White is quality and would be a really good addition to our team. I do like the thoughts of us improving our younger lads but if there is a player out there who is better in a certain position you have to go out and get them. Would be a ru really good signing.
Leeds fan at work isn't happy, he reckons he is a very good player, thinks he should be in their side.
No need imho Flat back 4 - play Kennedy and RNL left side midfield. Wing backs - RNL. Think the dearth of creative quality in central midfield is more pressing.
Re: No need imho Imagine if we we played a solid, experienced defender at RB which then allowed us to play one of our many wide players? Be good, that.
Re: No need imho Probably not. I like 352 but it means that we rely massively on our wing backs to create anything, especially if we go with the 3 in midfield we did Saturday. Have to strike the balance between graft & being solid and creating something. Still disappointed that Mellis is being overlooked for graft.
Re: No need imho Wing backs is fine, providing the wing backs are of sufficient quality and energy to press forward and defend - it's a demanding position imho. The worry for me is it encourages Flitcroft to go defensive in midfield. Whilst we did alright Saturday, for me at any rate, Dawson and Perkins together is a towelling waiting to happen. If Mellis is played centrally he has to be pushed forwards (cos a wideman he isn't, but he did well Saturday imho) - and we'll have to accept that the price for that is at times he can go missing a bit - if he was on his game constantly he'd still be at Chelsea.
Would prefer a permanent move, don't like giving rivals players game time, and helping with there development
Re: No need imho We're much too quick to accept graft instead of class. I expect he'll not play much at all because those 3 in midfield are very much his favourites and do set our tempo. We can't even play him behind O'Grady on his own because we've got 6 profiessional strikers and only playing 1 is ridiculous. Too many players - I'd expect him or Cwyka will be out before Christmas, especially if McCourt/Jennings start to feature. Another prediction - Jennings plays less than ten games for us before moving on.
Re: No need imho Letting Cwyka go will be a big error - looks like Jennings may have been a bigger project than anticipated. But surely we have to see what he can do ? Where's McCourt's position ? wide or central ?
Re: No need imho McCourt is a wide player but has played behind the striker a few times for lovely person**c.
