Good read, Andy But it's what I've come to expect from you over time. You do seem to take the phrase 'back handed compliment' to new heights, though.
Mate, I can't read it. Black background with light text does my eyes and head a mischief. Just tried reading but first paragraph has defeated me.
I changed it to that layout because a few folk said the white on red was hard to read. Seems like Sheffield Wednesday, I just can't win.
Cheers for that pal good read as per, gutted I missed it but normal service will resume for next home match
White on red would have the same effect for me unfortunately. It needs to be a dark text on light background like this site. If it's the other way round the lines of text get burned on my retinas and can give me headache. The further the contrast between the background and text the worse it is.
You could copy and paste the text into Word and read it there with a font, colour and background of your choice. It is a decent read. I was rocking out at a Leonard Cohen gig yesterday so the report is good to read. Looking forward to watching the full game on Player later.
Good read as usual yt only thing I would do is swap points with O'Grady and Pederson as he petered out quicker than Cog but that's very minor and only my opinion. But great stuff
Agree with most of that especially the Steele /Pollitt comments, Flitcrofts public put down in the Chronicle that Steele was 'relieved' to be dropped was unnecesary and in my opinion a 'disgusting' thing to say about one of the best keepers in the division
Very good read, Andy, as usual. I especially liked the observations on the coaching staff and subs from behind the dugout - very interesting. I am probably setting myself up here to be shot down, as I've only watched the extended highlights on Player (20 minutes or so). However, M'Voto made quite a few mistakes both in his positioning and his distribution. Hopefully he'll improve both aspects of his game. Wiseman was caught out of position a few times - eg for Vaughan's volley that went straight to Pollitt. The highlights didn't show many chances for the Reds, so I don't know if it was representative or not. I'm not a true fan, obviously, as I can't get to most matches as I have to work Saturdays and Sundays running my own business.
That's a really good read. Thanks for taking the time and effort to put it together and enlighten those of us who can't get to the games very often. Keep it up.
Cheers another decent read its a fine line between being a good and bad manager in a fans weekly view/opinion
Good read, I agree with the players ratings, except for Kennedy who I thought deserved a higher mark. I don't believe there is a 'Hassellgate'. Flicker doesn't rate him so doesn't pick him, fair enough.
There in lies the issue. He doesn't rate him, yet gave him a new contract. And if he did so to curry favour but with no intention of using him, it definitely proves what I said in the blog - he's made a rod for everyones back. Would have been simpler to just not offer him a deal.
