    Because he didn't expect steele to be here. And then alnwick got face on cos he is here.... snowball etc. I wanna leave. So we get pollit knowing he wants out.

    Thats what I reckon. All the talk in the summer that Flicker was happy to start him and he thought the No.1 spot was his, then Steele signs again and Alnwick throws his toys out of the pram. After Blackburn Flitcroft wanted to drop Steele but not prepared to put Alnwick in due to his attitude so brought Pollitt in for a month whilst he could look for another keeper (or arrange longer for Pollitt)
