    The man is still going strong and here yesterday with my pals (and absolute f'kin headcases) The Urban Voodoo Machine, following a recording sesh for an imminent EP.

    Saw him with Dr Feelgood back in 1974 at Essex Uni, and again at Sheffield city hall, and again at Sheff Uni when he had left the feelgoods.

    What a star ! Completely nuts !

    Isn't he about 70 now ?

    I saw him at Liverpool ( I think it was the Empire in 1982?) when I was at Uni - he was completely nuts then as well but great entertainer

    sadly he wont be with us much longer - think he is late '60s now but hasn't he got terminal cancer and already done his farewell tour?
