    Saw him with Dr Feelgood back in 1974 at Essex Uni, and again at Sheffield city hall, and again at Sheff Uni when he had left the feelgoods.

    What a star ! Completely nuts !

    Isn't he about 70 now ?

    I saw him at Liverpool ( I think it was the Empire in 1982?) when I was at Uni - he was completely nuts then as well but great entertainer

    sadly he wont be with us much longer - think he is late '60s now but hasn't he got terminal cancer and already done his farewell tour?
