    My wifes a teacher. She was working when I went to the pub at 7.30. Just got in and she's still working. She'll be out the door before me tomorrow. And she'll be in after me too.

    Hey, I trained as a teacher...I chose not to do it. I wouldn't swap places for any money or any holidays.
    It's a tough job, and I hate the rough ride teachers get.
    I do doubt the wisdom of high diving secondary school pupils if you're the Headteacher though.

    Oh not suggesting for a second you were. Just happened to turn the telly on to that programme as I got in from the pub and looking across at my wife still working reaffirmed that I'm eternally grateful that I'm not a teacher.

    She's still working.

    I wouldn't teach Secondary, Primary is not too bad though, good pay and brilliant holidays, would consider it if I had my time again.

    New thing in the school playground today ... "meet and greet the parents"
    Bloody hell ... I felt sorry for the teachers .... They've had 'em all day, and now are forced to come out and listen to the trivia the parents put their way, in between parents putting their toy dogs into their toy dog bags, and battling with each other in the car park and in the zebras with their illegally parked cars.

    My wife's primary. Admittedly a deputy head with associated responsibility but I wouldn't trade places for a second. She loves it though.

    She's just finished working.

    Thats a blast from the past, I can remember once in Electronics we were getting some soldering guns and he shut and locked the store room without knowing there were 3 of us in there, he heard us and let us out. In exchange for not telling anyone we got an A on our coursework and practical work. Happy days

    Nah, different bloke. This was the CDT (would work teacher) and head of year. Certainly no sandals.
