    Of course he can he is on a season loan but he can be sold just the same as happened with Drinkwater and the same of any other loan player

    So we can get the moaning out the way now then - he will not play for Barnsley at the end of the January, that is an absolute guarentee

    Whether you're serious or not,CJ, that is exactly spot on. MP's goal last week was a thing of rare quality. Strikers who can pluck the ball out of the air like that and finish so calmly are like gold dust. That sort of form will quickly attract the attention of the Championship front runners and perhaps even the lesser Premier League outfits (although it's reported he turned Palace down). Such clubs will up their wages/fee offer once he's had a half season with us proving himself.

    All we can do is use him to the max while we have him, get some points on the board and keep our other strikers 'fresh' for the second half of the seaon. Happily for us, BM and Flicker are shrewd enough to realise all this and are hopefully already working on the next deal in January.

    On Monday night Mansford mentioned this so that's where it's from. He also suggested that Vitesse may want him to do a full season here to build his worth amongst premiership clubs.

    He's signed a contract extension with Vitesse purely for that reason

    Lets just hope we've learned from the Drinkwater situation where we didn't seem to have a plan B in place to replace him and that if Pederson does leave in January we have someone in mind of same ability to come in on loan for the second half of the season.

    If he's really enjoying his football at oakwell and what's to join flickers galvanised team. Am sure they could work something out maybe. Or flog mellis for 1.2 mill and buy him, job done
