...The last kick about sums him up. 1 yard out, unmarked, plenty of time and he puts it over the bar. Remind me again...how much a week is he on?

It just shows the lack of depth we have nowadays. I've just been watching the Belgium highlights - now there IS a team that could go places. Mignolet, Lukaku and Mirallas on the bench, Fellaini, Vertognhen, De Bruyne and Benteke starting - and Hazard wasn't playing. I think I might support Belgium in Rio.

We win against a poor side. England cannot afford to waste chances like that against better sides. My criticism wasn't of England as a team but the poor technical skill levels of a player supposedly good enough to represent his country and is paid more in a week than most of us will earn in a year.

Every player can do that. Its one miss.

    His wages are irrelevant.

Always put a shift in though which is more than can be said of some on here who whilst at work are tossing it off on here.

Hazard weren't playing and neither was their Thorgan who looks pretty good too, although Youri Tielmans at 16 is amazing.

Correct. Keyboord warriers, who never got close to being an average player for England, mostly posting on the internet instead, badly.

Compared to what? He's not Zidane, but he's played a part in winning the premier league for his club. He's an Engalnd regular(ish). He's played god knows how many premier league games. He's a grafter and in all honesty I don't think he's that bad a player. . . he can't be.

He's the type of player that every club needs apparently - and we should know as we have two in our midfield.

Well at least it's not the usual thread, slagging off Welbeck, that we seem to get every time there's an England international.
