Id say its more a pop at the nuthuggers who still think he deserves a place than bobby himself but thats the way i took it.

 

I'd say that amounted to the same thing. Many people do think Bobby can still do a job, possibly not every week but certainly as a sub or when we're short of defenders. He was still playing well towards the end of last season so why not this season?

 

Usually they go hand in hand however for me it was aimed at the fanboys. Point is were not short of defenders at the minute and hes not better than what weve got yet people still put him in starting xi's. For me his legs have gone and to suggest hes ever really been that good is a bit of a stretch, i mean most people used to say the same about foster. Whats he upto now?

 

The joke was based purely on as someone's scrotum suggested the fact some people here have an unhealthy obsession with bobby regardless of whether he's played millions of games for us or not. As expected though it was taken way too seriously.

Not seen anyone clamouring for him to start or even play for a few weeks. FFs we haven't been playing! So the op was out of order even starting the thread. Deserves all the grief him, and you are getting.

Grief ooooo no its a forum to have a laugh on. Its a joke get a grip and release the ginger balls. Ive seen people suggest he starts, multiple times this season.
