    According to Dave there is no reason why it should be more expensive when privatised. LOL at the deluded fool. Takes us all as idiots, when he is the idiot for thinking that.

    will be the best thing thats ever happened to the business, it will alow them to invest in a more upto date infrastructure. in facy i have just applied to work at the royal mail just hope i can get before be a winner like the rest of the staff will be

    Will go exactly the way of Water,Gas,Electric whatever they say they have never been brought to account for the other sell offs as the fact they are in power again proves.
    The Tories allow anybody to bleed this country and its people as long as there's room on a board somewhere for their mates or a pension fund to stash their money in.

    Yeah, you're absolutely right. It's much cheaper to borrow for investment when you're in the private sector than it is when you're the government.

    as i have pointed out the price of electricty was 6.75 per unit at privatisation and its around 8 now so i think we have won.

    dont forget for years it was actually been reduced in cost have you forgoten you 50quid NGT rebate? so dont tell me we have lost

    Royal Mail turned a record profit last year, and you still haven't explained how it's going to be easier to grow the business using private sector funds than it is by using funds injected by the government. Also, pensioners have nothing to do with it as the pension deficit was hived off and isn't part of the sale.

    Have you got any idea what you're talking about?

    pensioners of the royal mail pension scheme need protect, for that to happen the royal mail need to grow

    Privatisation will allow the Royal mail to become global

    1. The pensions have nothing to do with the sale. Any responsibility for the Royal Mail pension scheme (and its deficit) will remain with the government. I've just told you that.

    2. How will it be easier for the Royal Mail to grow when it will be more expensive for them to borrow money? Why can't it remain in public hands where any increased profit could be redirected towards public services?
