. . . then O'Driscoll should be available again pretty soon.

Or we could hang on a bit longer and we might be in with a shout of getting Dave Jones. That should suit some on here.

I realise this is tongue in cheek, but if any of your fans are going off your manager it's criminal. We were over-running you in the first 20 minutes, he changed it and from then on you were arguably the better team against much more expensive players. You were unlucky today. Sorry for butting in though.

You can butt in with comments like that all you like. It would appear you're more of a Barnsley supporter than some of the people on here.

We're not a patient lot. We're used to immediate success, as you know.

i don't think Flicker is in any imminent danger of the sack, his team selections are still baffling though.

I'd imagine Mansford and Watkins are pally with some relatively high profile managers though given their background so maybe if we are in the relegation zone at the end of November then they might look to change it. I don't think we will be though, more for the fact that yet again there are several teams who are much worse than us. Yeovil are out of their depth, Millwall and Charlton don't seem to have much about them, Birmingham and Bolton seem to be in turmoil, Donny will struggle and Wednesday don't seem to have any money to strengthen what is currently a very poor side. Not really the way I'd want us to stay up again, being the better team of a bad bunch, but at least there seems to be a plan in place with the new chief exec and chairman whereas with the last lot we were treading water and basically having to rebuild the team every summer.

I don't think anyone can actually have gone off him this season as we're playing no worse now than we were under Flitcroft for large parts of last season after which he was hailed a hero. The same people who paraded him as a god after huddersfield game after witnessing some of those displays cannot now call for his head when he has served up exactly the same football this season. Anyone who does is a hypocrite in my opinion.

I don't think people have, have they?!

Can't remember a more popular manager.

I hope not. Maybe I'm just reading too much into some people's comments.

Don't worry Gordon, very much tongue in cheek. I was just looking at the lower reaches of the League One table and thinking that things could be much worse.

    There's an easy solution, mate

*First we sack the manager and his staff (because we're **** and we've got off to a **** start). Then we get shut of Messrs Cryne, Watkins & Mansford (because we were promised changes down at Oakwell and they haven't happened immediately). Then we get shut of the following players (because they're all ****):- Pollitt, Steele, Dibble, Hassell, Ramage, Jones, RNL, M'voto, Cranie, McNulty, Kennedy, Wiseman, Nyatanga, Joyce, O'Brien, Cywka, Knight, Digby, Clarke, Patterson, Jennings, Etuhu, Perkins, Oates, Dawson, Mellis, McCourt, Rose, Cofie, Scotland, Pedersen, Dagnall, O'Grady. I apologise if I've left anyone off that list. I'm ****. I'll get shut of me.
Then we can get new players, new manager, new coaches, new owner, new C.E.O., new chairman and bring them all in straight away. Then we will be brilliant. If we're not, then it'll all be the fault of the newcomers.:D

Same old people, "sack the manager it'll solve everything". It is so boring

Who has called for Flicker to be sacked? Or am I missing something? In fact, don't answer that. :D

O'Driscoll is boring, we don't want him. I certainly don't want to listen to him.

Flicker is the best manager since Keith Hill.

I think we will stay up, maybe even make a profit, not go bankrupt, and survive.

Success. Compared to other 'bigger' 'richer' 'better' clubs/Towns/Cities. Coventry, Wolves, Sheff Utd etc. Massive.

On another positive note. I think O'Grady may well get into double figures this season.

I think this is a positive post.

    Pedersen's dog is ****

Who has called for anyone to be sacked, let alone the same old people.

You are right that it is boring. Toiling at the bottom that is.
