    I tend to agree, more so when we have a point or three to protect. I really worry when we sit back and drop deeper and deeper because its almost inevitable that we will concede. I still think we'll be ok though.

    Our mentality effects our tactics, I'm not sure where you're coming from. We have something to protect so we drop deeper.

    I don't understand the point you're making?

    It's a sub conscious change in tactics because of mentality and we invite pressure on.

    That's the point.

    Dropping deeper invites pressure. That's the whole point in having football managers on the touchline for 90 minutes. After all the arm waving and f'ing and blnding, they are trying to get their players further up the pitch.

    Playing with 2 strikers and an attacking midfielder increases the likeliness of the football staying up in the opposition final 3rd of the pitch, away from our defense.
