Are many of you travelling to Bournemouth? Its my one "home" game of the season, and my 16 year old daughter is making her debut as a Barnsley fan. To be honest, shes not that bothered about football, think she is going just to see what winds up the old man so much!
I was on holiday in Christchurch about 6 weeks ago so won't be making the journey again, crazy trip for a Tuesday evening.
Yes I will be there. Its one of my nearest games though not as close as Reading. Be nice to get to an evening game for a change
I was delighted pre-season to have Reading, Brighton, QPR, Yeovil and Bournemouth back.... but then wind ripped out of me by three of them being Tuesday night! Brighton away on a Tuesday in the most car unfriendly football ground (its even worse than Wembley) is going to be a challenge. It took me 5 hours to get back when we played there on a sunday afternoon, season before last.
Hopefully, I will see you there Farnham_Red. I will be the bald headed 58 year old with the 16 year old blonde! It would be nice to put a face to a name.
I will keep an eye out for you - I'm the 50 year old with a beard and full head of hair. Hopefully sitting with the few London tykes that are making the journey Guessing there will only be a couple of hundred of us in total
I wont be doing Brighton - its just too difficult to get to and from the ground - the idea of taking 2 hours to get back to your car after the game is a bit of a turn off
Me and missus will be there- 58 bald as a badger with stunning blond (she told me to say that) having two nights down there after the match so that makes 6!
Wow... two stunning blondes in 6, are we the most attractive away support in the country ?! I will look out for you.
Two of us coming down from Portsmouth, looking forward to it, for once the midweek fixtures have been good to us that work down south. Bournemouth, Brighton and Reading all on a Tuesday night, makes up for missing the midweek games at Oakwell.
Yes i'm going but working 1st, starting at half 4 then driving down then back for work Wednesday morning
I'll be there. A few of us going. Taking my wife, Father and Brother in law, aswell as a couple of friends. Some of them are honorary Barnsley supporters for the evening but have come with me before, so they enjoy it. Also planning on meeting up with a golf pro who teaches me down here who also is a red.
Me and wife here now. Just booked into the best western royal. Just had 2 nice beers on the sea front in the west beach restaurant.
Would have gone had match been on Saturday , got no holiday days left at work to go tomorrow . Safe journey and hopefully a good result for the fans who do go
Me an the Mrs currently on holiday in Charmouth so will make the journey across the the coast to hopefully pick up our 1st away win of the season. Trying to stay positive!
