Bob was at the game, watching on. So no, he'll not be involved at Bournemouth. Luke has travelled though, so he'll be in the squad I would imagine. Other scorer was Tunnicliffe, by the way.
I should have known that even when we've shipped three goals again that Hassell would have been banished from the squad by mr favourites himself.
He's not on his own, i think Flitcroft's blind obsession with certain players will drive him away from some fans. You're only as good as your last game.
Isn't the irony that those complaining that he's picking his favourites are moaning because he's not picking THEIR favourites.
Not really. Most on here like to see us do well, conceding **** loads of goals isn't doing very well is it? Hassell proved last season when he got picked we didn't leak many goals.
Dunno, Andrew. Because a lot of bile on here is directed at me on this issue. Yet I've not moaned about the manager picking 'favourites' or his 'mates' etc. In fact, I've posted to the contrary. I disbelieve both theories. I actually believe Flitcroft picks the players he rates the most. But, by selecting Steele and Hassell in my preferred XI whenever such a thread is started, that seems ammunition enough for the usual suspects. I merely posted a thread asking if anyone else though Pollitt looked injured during the Forest game. I was then apparently 'wanting Flitcroft sacked' or part of 'a love triangle with Hassell and Steele'. No coincidence in my mind, that the usual suspects are fairly new members of this forum... hold the same views.. attack the same posters. Plants.
It wasn't aimed at you Andy. Or anyone in particular. Just making the point that we all have our favourite players who we all think should be playing. Just as Flicker has, Roy Hodgson does, Ferguson did et al. Doesn't mean we agree or have to pretend to agree, but we should have the self-awareness to realise our criticism is born out of the desire to see our own favourites playing
