    we cannot defend at all. Yes we are beginning to score, but its no good if we cannot defend. And quite simply we cannot. If the ball is in our half almost all the game . as it has been for most of the games so far, then how the hell can we have scoring chances. Sorry all but this is our last term in this league, and will be for a dammed long time.

    Mate, it's early. We've had bad starts before and we've had bad finishes and we've pulled together, and through, and we've stayed in this division on merit, albeit by the slenderest of margins. It's looking like it's going to be tough for this season to deliver on its promise but even if it's through nothing more than blind optimism I'm backing us to fight for, and retain, our championship status once again. Whether that's enough to satisfy the fans who spend a lot more at Oakwell than I do remains to be seen.

    We are with this manager unless he changes his ways. I predicted we wouldnt get 6 points from our first 10 games...It might be right as things are going....
