Only DJs I've ever heard of are all now sex offenders.

Sorry, I know nothing about this, I'll step away.

Probably the best two on the scene right now. I've seen David Guetta aswell but I'm not a massive fan.

The best person at turning one turntable down and the other one up? Anyone with two hands.

When I was younger, I had some decks. It wasn't as easy as it looked.

I was smashed a lot of the time though.

Used to go to hard times at Huddersfield in an old church when I was a young un and saw most the top DJ's of the time or so i was told. I just used to enjoy the nights out and wasn't really bothered who the DJ.

Sasha does ring a bell and I remember one of the nights being junior boys own , but I think that was more of a label than an individual DJ.

Also been to ibiza quite a few times and paid some ridiculous prices into club due to some certain DJ's being on. but to be honest to me its just a guy playing music. I remember seeing Judge Jules and thinking what a fecking geek

I even saw kylie minogue singing in a club in ibiza in 95 when she tried to be a bit different with "confide in me" etc. Mad night with fecking boy George one of the DJ's and lots of other famous people walking about

I do have an anecdote about Boy George that my best man poured out at my wedding. I nearly wrote the story on the being told to **** off by a celebrity but it was more a question of will you '**** me'. I declined hasten to add.

Brought back a few memories back there Mr.Nutkins. Here I am typing this at 7am after a restful nights kip, thinking about when I wouldn't even have got in from a night out yet....

In no particular order, here are the ones that stand out for me

Billy Nasty, Brain, London (resident) and my favourite club ever
Sasha, Orbit, Morley (with Altern8 doing a live PA)
    Junior Vasquez, Tunnel, NYC
Andy Weatherall, Club UK and Happy Jax, both London
    LuvDup, Home, Manchester
    Allister Whitehead, Victory, Pinner
    Joey Negro, Club Non, Huddersfield
Masters At work, Ministry of Sound, London

Carl Cox and Graeme Park were always good. Saw Digweed at a small club in Brighton, and his mixing was perfect. Boy George was a decent DJ, and his mini-me Jon Pleased Wimmin was always good value. Gardening Club in Covent Garden always had good DJ's on. Missed out on the Back To Basics/Leeds heyday as i was living down south then, but people say it was ace.....enjoyed a great night at Speed Queen a few years on tho.

Of course, none of them can hold a candle to....

"Breshnev", Rebeccas, Barnsley.....apart from when the lads used to badger him into playing Liberator by Spear of Destiny and the ensuing melee on the dancefloor made his decks jump and he got all grumpy!

Used to DJ a bit playing warm up sets at Turnmills in London. I warmed up for Timo Mass, Nick Warren, Matt Hardwick, Futureshock.

Loved going to Bedrock too. Used to get all the top DJs playing and it only used to cost £6 to get in. Digweed used to play some unreal sets there so my picks are.....

    John Digweed
    Danny Howells
    Carl Cox

Too many to mention that I've enjoyed seeing though.

Was it old and fat Boy George or Karama Chameleon era Boy George? If it was the former it's obliviously just a 'no'. The latter - you'd at least have to think about it twice.
