I agree it sounds ridiculous. But lets look at the facts shall we.....22 goals conceded, 8 games in...not forgetting the 5 goals against Southampton. 8 games in, 6 lost, 1 draw 1, i repeat 1 win. Looking at the squad, i feel we have a decent enough squad bar 1 or 2 to take us forward. In my opinion we have good defenders, and good attacking players. But its how we utilise them that is the key, and i'm sorry but those above stats prove to me that the problem is at management level. Time after time we see players being played out of position, for example Dawson on the wing.....he's not fast enough to offer support to our full back, and he's not creative enough going forward. So why play him there? I don't know which is worse, today or Tuesday night....away from home against newly promoted team, sit back invite pressure and eventually lose to a goal conceded in the last 10 minutes, same at Blackpool, games which we are capable of winning in my opinion. Yet again, we are in another relegation scrap, and its only September. And that is what hurts the most, its only September and i am calling for the managers head.
since the end of feb in the league we have beat Brighton,Watford,Leicester,Hull (last season) and Huddersfield (this season),I make that five, where the 6th?
