dont think the loses wins and draws are the reasons some are calling for change

i quite simply is the scorelines and perfomances
anybody can change a teams fortunes when games are close but as we are ... worst defence in football league.. well im not so sure
we still look 3 players short at least and i cannot see him getting the backing for that so he may find himself hung out to dry

It is possible to turn things round, when Norwich dropped to league 1 a couple of years back they started off conceding 16 goals with only 2 wins in the first 8 or 9 games, and went on to achieve impressive consecutive promotions, whilst I'm not suggesting that is likely for us it does show the transformations that can happen.A bit of luck on our side for once would be a change, but I think as many have pointed out things do need to be changed round..fetching in Pederson and Ramage I think will prove to be good, but I think a creative midfielder is needed,I like Mellis but its not good to rely on a player who can't seem to do more than 70 mins.As to the pressing style,I also agree with many on here who've said we need more of that, possibly Flitcroft has eased it is because he thinks its physically too hard for the players to keep it up for a whole season rather than 21 games like last year.IMO Flitcroft did the business last season and deserves the chance to prove it again....I think there's a tough core to Flitcroft and hopefully he'll be ruthless enough to rectify his own mistakes, and shake the players up or move on ones who are underperforming.

Let's not fall into the trap of "explaining away" some of these defeats as being unfortunate. That's only going to result in people convincing themselves that we aren't doing much wrong.

I seem to remember that when we got turned over by Wigan, it was argued that we wouldn't be up against teams of such quality every week. Well, guess what? We have continued to lose football matches.

I can understand a tweak in tactics and an argument of conserving energy in playing a lower tempo game. However, it doesn't carry much weight when you've burgeoned your squad to 28 players plus kids.

    Norwich sacked their manager

    and appointed Lambert, though.

So anyone who doesn't agree with this point of view isn't a sensible post
? It is all about opinions.

I don't agree with Conan at all on this matter but that doesn't mean his post isn't sensible.

Always find myself agreeing with what you say JLWBigLil and again, I completely agree with both posts you've put in this thread. Great assessment and you've put it into words just how I feel with the situation at the moment.
