Bobby's Chron column..

Over the last couple of years of him doing them, can anybody recall him ever saying anything in them that would force the manager of the club to stop him from doing them?
I always found them supportive of his teammates, the club, and especially the managers - despite his poor treatment.
He even welcomes every new defender to the club. Not once do I remember him making any harmful remarks. So what's the reasoning behind it?

 

Nope, he's never said anything bad about the club or manager at all. Is it definitely Flitcroft who has put a stop to it?

 

I find that hard to believe but we always get silly rumours when results aren't going well.Good call tonight on Radio Sheffield by the way.

 

I think Matt Murray said there was editorial problems with last weeks Chronicle maybe thats the reason.

 

Nope, it was because the chronicle weren't allowed to publish it this week

Anyone know why he deleted his twitter?

The club. The manager. Who cares? It stinks if anybody has told him to stop, or not do one. Running through my head though I can't think of why cryne, mansford, watkins would tell him that though. He is being treat disgracefully this season. Training and playing with the kids, no chance of getting in the squad for 1st team despite our otherwise porous defence, after he proved himself to be as good as any other CB we have got when he finally got a chance last season. Shabby all round from 'the club'.

 

Oh he must have blocked my twitter account! Not sure why having never tweeted him, though I do follow some anti-religious sorts (Dawkins etc) and he may have taken exception.

 

Bizarre situation. Why would it be a problem for anyone to allow a club legend to write a column for the local paper? Aside from the obvious conspiracy theories, they were a brilliant read - so a shame all round.

 

I want to know why somebody at the club has taken the decision to remove a free piece of excellent public relations and club marketing when it needs all the help it can get

 

So you're absolutely certain it's the club? Any proof?

 

Both Bobby hassell and Matthew Murray have said publically that the club put a stop to it. Proof enough for you?

So you think that both a club employee and a chronicle sports reporter are both making something up and lying about the club in public in a move that could quite easily and quite rightly see them both sacked?
