    No I stand corrected electricity is cheaper in France. This due to the 58 nuclear plants they. Many of These will soon becoming obsolete and the cost of decomissioning will be astronomical

    In May (the only month I see figures for) we weren't cheapest on gas either. 12th cheapest on electricity and not the cheapest on gas either so how does that equate to the cheapest for both?

    in your post you said cheapest utility bills,well seeing as electric is the biggest part of everyones utility bill i'd say we wernt the cheapest.

    I would say gas was the largest . for example it's 81% of my annual consumption

    It's not difficult to find out its on your bill or your supplier online monitoring tool
