No I stand corrected electricity is cheaper in France. This due to the 58 nuclear plants they. Many of These will soon becoming obsolete and the cost of decomissioning will be astronomical
according to this site http://www.sust-it.net/europe-energy-costs.php there are eleven countries cheaper than the uk for electricity
In May (the only month I see figures for) we weren't cheapest on gas either. 12th cheapest on electricity and not the cheapest on gas either so how does that equate to the cheapest for both?
you said we are the cheapest whether we like it or not, well we arnt http://order-order.com/2013/09/25/how-do-uk-retail-energy-prices-compare-to-rest-of-europe/
in your post you said cheapest utility bills, well seeing as electric is the biggest part of everyones utility bill i'd say we wernt the cheapest.
My energy consumption is 19% electricity 81% gas . It's not difficult to find out its on your bill or your supplier online monitoring tool
Well mines 65% electric 35% gas and the poster was going on a average but you tried to hijack it by giving your personal consumption. Typical
Nope I presented real statistic. And having worked in the industry for 30 years I consider I'm qualified to make an informed statement
