I'm now going to get carried away

Midfield player, signed from Celtic, not really sure how me managed to get him, hints of some "baggage", made a slow start, didn't seem really fit, eventually settled in and scored a bagful.

Now where have I heard that before?

Kenny Brown? Mitch Ward? Am I close?

    Sorry, you've miles off.

I can't remember his name after all these years, it was Bonnie Gavin or something like that. Left Celtic in a smoke and mirrors controversy and had a burning desire to do well down here, as I remember. Had a very rare ability to walk on water.

    Actually

If you change the words Kenny to Ronnie and Ward to Glavin, you'll find I'm spot on!
I REALLY need to start drinking!

Ronnie Glavin, that's it! Can't believe I forgot. As you say, he was exactly like a combination of Kenny Ward and Mitch Brown.

    I know my stuff

Pity really, as my stuff isn't football knowledge!
McCourt looks a very skilful ball player. I hope we utilise his strengths to the benefit of the team.

I agree. We can't have a full team of workhorses if we are going to win matches, as the great man proved all those years ago.

Don't understand all the negativity on here after the game if that video is anything to go by. Looks like we played OK.

    McCourt looks brilliant!

    Room for optimism there.

Used to know Flicker from his days at Rochdale apparently. Maybe that helped. He certainly makes it look effortless, reminds me of Hignett the way he just drifts past defenders.

With that kind of skill and service up top I can't imagine we'll be struggling to create chances.

I suppose playing European football might help in that respect. If your comment had been made by someone supporting that team from S6 we'd have been jumping down their throats about their arrogance. Just saying.

Just what I was thinking watching that clip. He is a class player. Hope he gets a run in the team.

He looks like McProsinecki on that showing. Bet Karl Henry, Michael Brown and the like are sharpening their blades.
